Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Education Secretary Zameer Abbas chaired a progress review meeting with PITB at the Gilgit Baltistan House in Islamabad.
Joint Director IT-Solutions Sajjad Qureshi gave a comprehensive update regarding PITB developed Education Management Information System (EMIS) emphasizing its scope and benefits. The system aims at facilitating the information regarding Staff Management, Student Registration, Attendance and School Facilities. Additionally, PITB team member PM Rubab Zahra gave a detailed demo EMIS website and mobile application developed by PITB.
GB Education Secretary commended PITB for its ongoing IT assistance towards the said department. The meeting facilitated an assessment of advancements and encouraged discussions on future project strategies, fostering cooperation for educational enhancements in the GB province.
