PITB in collaboration with School Education Department Lahore organized a training session about the Dengue Tracking System for the SED department.
PITB Program Officer Muneeb Ahmed gave detailed demos on the PITB developed Dengue Tracking System and Mobile Application and how they are helping combat Dengue across Punjab. Director Monitoring Ghulam Fareed appreciated the efforts of PITB in this regard and presented PO Muneeb Ahmed with a Certificate of Appreciation.
PITB introduced the concept of 'Smart Disease Monitoring' in 2012, comprising a number of initiatives including Dengue Tracking System. Since then, it is successfully combating dengue across Punjab by enabling the stakeholder departments as well as public and private hospitals and labs to submit real-time data for the authorities to take timely action.
