Representatives of Department for International Development (DFID) visited PITB where they were introduced to various health initiatives, developed by PITB. Focusing on the working, efficiency and outcome of Equipment Control and Medicine Inventory System, JD e-Governance Applications Saflain Haider gave an overview of other health projects including the Disease Surveillance System, MEA Applications and others.
JD Development and Infrastructure Adil Iqbal introduced e-Vaccs system devised to help health authorities track progress and set targets on vaccination move. DG IT Rizwan Rashid emphasized that the introduction of these systems has streamlined work for the government whereas the real-time data has helped monitor and predict future trends.
Representatives of DFID appreciated PITB’s aspirations to facilitate government and the citizens.
