Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Mr. Sajjad Ghani serves as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), where he leads enterprise-wide technology strategy, cybersecurity governance, and the modernization of mission-critical government systems.

His portfolio includes province-wide initiatives such as the Provincial Datacenter and Business Continuity Program, the establishment of Punjab’s Provincial Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Disaster Recovery Datacenter, cybersecurity governance frameworks, and cloud services procurement aligned with national policies. These initiatives have significantly strengthened the resilience, security, and scalability of government digital infrastructure.

With over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital governance, Mr. Ghani brings deep expertise in cybersecurity architecture, cloud governance, datacenter design, and service management. He is a Certified Chief Information Security Officer and serves as a member of Pakistan’s CERT Council and the National Cloud Board, contributing to regional cybersecurity readiness and policy alignment.
