25th Anniversary of World Wide Web

August 23, 2017

Today marks the 25th anniversary of public access to the world of endless information. The World Wide Web forms an integral part of modern existence, but it was not until August 23, 1991 that its inventor, a British scientist at CERN, Tim Berners-Lee allowed its access to the general public i.e. the non-technical people. So thank you, Sir Tim Berners-Lee and other internet pioneers for this open access to connectivity and communication.
